Empowering Educators: A Successful Train-the-Trainer Workshop

The “ARISE” project successfully hosted a Train-the-Trainer (ToT) workshop to empower educators in addressing diversity, equality, and inclusion in the classroom. The workshop, held in Attica, Greece, brought together teachers from primary and secondary schools to explore strategies for creating inclusive learning environments and promoting the empowerment of all students.
The workshop focused on key themes such as social skills, citizen skills, communication skills, intercultural competence, leadership, and diversity management. Participants engaged in interactive activities, including presentations, exercises, case studies, and discussions.

The workshop received positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the practical nature of the content and the opportunity to network with other educators. Key outcomes included increased knowledge and skills, enhanced confidence, and identification of areas for further support. Recommendations for future workshops include tailoring content to specific needs, incorporating more practical exercises, fostering collaboration, and exploring partnerships with relevant organizations.
